Grocery tips from the stars

I should admit that when I say "grocery tips," I don't mean Gwyneth Paltrow's recipe book. I'm talking about my perennial favorite style section of People Magazine: what celebrities wear while food shopping.

Maybe it's the mom in me, but is there any place more public than a grocery store? You're guaranteed to run into half a dozen people you know and you're guaranteed to be in a hurry. I may not draw paparazzi like Rihanna, but I definitely understand those face-covering sunglasses. The stars might hide their eyes, but they don't sacrifice fashion.

Most tend to mix it up between casual jeans and super-cute summer dresses, but with one consistency - no one ever wears heels. It's a good call - supermarkets might be super public but they're also super dangerous for even the most dexterous of us.

Grocery shopping requires some chic and easy footwear to circle and bypass the cleanups in aisles one through twelve.
