The (still uninteresting) sci-fi action flick just had its UK premiere. Colin Farrell pulled it together with a nice striped tie (finally!) and charcoal suit. Even Bill Nighy showed up, looking svelte and supremely English in his blue oxford and sports coat.

Teen clothes can go in two directions these days - gross or astoundingly trendy. Because the clothes are marketed toward high school kids with one eye on grownup styles and the other firmly settled on casual comfort, all the trends seem so easy and fun, from skinny jeans to summery scarves, totes and the fashionable rumpled oxford.

Gordon-Levitt, for better or worse, didn't show up to the red carpet premiere in bike shorts and helmet though. At first sight, his dark blue getup and striped tie appeared a little bland, but on closer inspection, I realized that he was pulling off a double-breasted suit - not a common sight nowadays.
